Heath Schuman
Founder, President
Heath started Schuman, originally known as Schuman’s Cleaning Services, in 1985 as a boat detailing company. In 2002, he continued to add services in order to meet the needs of homeowners, contractors, businesses, and institutions, by starting Schuman’s Commercial Cleaning Inc. Soon after, Heath also added air and water purification services to help curb complaints and enhance his customers’ indoor environments. Today, all of Schuman’s services remain on the cutting edge—with a specific focus on safe, “green” products. In October 2008, Heath received the IBEX Innovation Award for the Nautic Air™ system. The company’s resounding success is a direct result of exceptional customer service, reliability, and the word-of-mouth business from many satisfied customers. Heath is a graduate of Salisbury State University with a degree in Business Administration.
Sherrie Schuman
Vice President
As a Nursing Home Administrator, Sherrie managed nine nursing centers in Maryland and Delaware with Genesis Healthcare, all while working with Heath on marketing and human resources for Schuman. She left the nursing homes in 2000 to start their family and concentrate her efforts on growing the Schuman companies. Sherrie holds a Business Administration / Marketing degree from Towson University.
Brad Harrell
Operations Manager – Boat Division
Brad Harrell our Boat & Yacht Operations Manager began his career with Schuman’s in the mid 1990’s detailing boats, and moved up to a supervisor and has held the position of Operations Manager since 2008. Brad is coming up on his 15th year Anniversary with Schuman. Brad is married with one son and resides in Greensboro, Md. When Brad isn’t holding down the Boat Division you can find him spending time with family and outdoors hunting, fishing and camping.
